Rob Buxton
Partner - Menlo Park

Rob is a partner in the investment banking group of America's Growth Capital and is based out of the firm's Silicon Valley office, where he focuses on communications and software. He has over 20 years of experience working with technology companies as an investment banker and as a principal investor. Before joining AGC, he was Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking for CIBC World Markets from 1999-2008 and was most recently Managing Director and Head of Technology, Media and Telecom at Yorkville Advisors, a $1 billion fund focused on structured finance investments. Rob started out on Wall Street with Dean Witter Reynolds and later moved on to Oppenheimer/CIBC.

Rob has his BS in Economics from Millsaps College, where he was Valedictorian, and his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
