AGC Advises NetScout Systems on its Pending Acquisition of Network General
Monday, September 24, 2007 - America's Growth Capital is pleased to announce that its client, NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCT), an industry pacesetter for advanced network and service assurance solutions, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Network General Corporation in a combined cash, stock, and debt transaction currently valued at approximately $205 million. The acquisition, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, is expected to be completed by early November. With a team led by Ben Howe, America's Growth Capital served as a financial advisor to NetScout Systems.
This is America's 61st transaction since the firm's inception in 2003. Other notable deals include:
