Associate

Industry: Investment Banking

We are seeking an Investment Banking Associate to act as a project manager in our Boston headquarters. This mid-level banking professional will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of a broad range of transaction types (including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, follow-on financings, buyouts, PIPES and private placements) as well as assisting with business development, client relationship building efforts and training programs. This is a full-time, 6 days/week, “at-will” position.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have at least two years of investment banking or related experience. Experience working with emerging growth companies and strong academic credentials including MBA from a top school are preferred. Applicants should also possess:

(i) Strong work ethic and passion for investment banking,
(ii) Proven project management leadership skills,
(iii) Technical proficiency in all financial analysis required to support a variety of transactions,
(iv) Effective writing and oral communication skills to include the creation and delivery of presentations to senior management of client and prospective client companies,
(v) Team-building and mentoring skills, and
(vi) Outstanding character and good sense of humor;
